The opening of new markets, key for exhibitors.
València, 27 January 2024 – The fifth edition of BKSFIMI, co-organized by Feria Valencia and ASEPRI, closed its doors this Friday with a resounding success. The significant increase of professional visitors, the internationalization of business contacts and the high valuation of the attendees have positioned this fair as a benchmark in the children’s product sector.
Exhibitors’ opinions coincide in pointing out this success. Paula Nogales, Onna’s marketing manager, expressed her satisfaction with the number of contacts generated, while pointing out that “there has been a lot of evolution for the better in these four years we have been participating in BKSFIMI”. The children’s footwear company Teresa Rodríguez, manager of Baby Lobitos, expressed her feelings: “We love coming to the fair, meeting up with our usual stores and meeting new customers. As always, we have had very good attendance”.
From Safta, Vicente Forment highlighted the surprise of finding contacts from customers outside Spain, such as Portugal, African countries or Turkey. Nerea Quintana, designer of Cua Cuak, valued positively the visit of international Japanese and Latin customers. Elena Mañes, from Siena Complementos, highlighted the large number of national and international clients, including Morocco, Japan, Italy, France and Mexico. Antonio García, manager of Creaciones Charo, expressed his delight at the new contacts and the loyalty of customers from Latin America and southern Italy.
The change of location to Pavilion 7 was also well received. Ana Gabriela García Quirós, CEO of Naáy Botanical, pointed out that “we were surprised to see that we had many more visitors than last year. They are quality visitors with very good contacts”. Ariana Marín, director of Fun*das Barcelona, highlighted the work of the fair in attracting international visitors: “we had never had visits from foreign buyers such as Italy, Greece or Portugal”. Ángel Juan, manager of Nines d’Onil, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in this edition, emphasized the continuous growth of the fair and the attainment of new clients from different countries such as Iraq or Italy: “every year it has been getting better and this edition has been outstanding”.
A success as a result of a joint effort
Alicia Gimeno, director of BKSFIMI, expressed her satisfaction with the results obtained: “We are very proud to have achieved these objectives. The positive opinions of our exhibitors are the best reward for our work. We agree that this edition has been a milestone in the trajectory of BKSFIMI, consolidating its position as an essential meeting point for professionals in the sector”.
Gimeno wanted to highlight the importance of the co-organization with ASEPRI. In his opinion “our joint work has been fundamental to offer exhibitors an event of the highest quality and attract an increasingly qualified public”. Likewise, the director of BKSFIMI thanked the support of institutions such as ICEX and IVACE. “We would like to express our most sincere thanks to ICEX and IVACE for their great effort in attracting international clients, as their support has been key for companies from all over the world to get to know BKSFIMI and our exhibitors,” said Gimeno.
In this sense, during the last day, BKSFIMI was visited by a delegation from ICEX who had the opportunity to exchange impressions with different exhibitors who have managed to establish new international contacts thanks to their support.
