Anguè Anguè is the baby, the main character of all our stories, all of them written and illustrated by our designer Anna Aromir each season. In each collection the baby gets lost and starts crying “anguè anguè” (this is how babies cry in Catalan), and that is what the name of the baby stands for… At Anguè Anguè we like clothes with a story behind. A story full of fantasy to dream awake…
Each unique illustration is stamped on any of the items in the collection, so that children live with enthusiasm the story behind their clothes.
This spring-summer 2019 Anguè Anguè gets lost in the Mayan Jungle. In this new story, we will meet wild animals like jaguars, chameleons and lovely birds like hummingbirds, toucans… Children will wear their favourite beasts, and they will know the story behind them.
The vibrant and fresh colours of the collection also make us travel to this fascinating land. A parrot green, a banana yellow, a lilium pink… All combined whith a pretty denim blue and a luminous ivory.
All fabrics are made of organic cotton: light voiles, fresh poplins, lightweight denims, soft jerseys…
Clothes are always casual. So that the children go comfortable and cool.
We are very happy because in 2016 we were given the National Award for Fashion and Business Excellence Prenamo 2016. It is a real honor and encourages us to continue working with passion.
