València, 12 May 2024.- The 2024 edition of DÍA MÁGICO by FIMI, which closed this Sunday at Feria Valencia, concluded with a positive balance, maintaining the loyalty of its professional buyers and the direct business figures generated during the three days of the exhibition.
The fair, the only professional event dedicated to the communion and ceremony sector, has brought together 80 leading brands in the sector from all over Spain, and has turned Valencia into a key meeting point for communion and ceremony fashion professionals, who have been able to learn about the latest trends and place their orders for the next season.
Exhibitors have rated the fair very positively, highlighting the quality of the audience and the profitability of the event. In the words of María José Cánovas, from Josephine Luca, DÍA MÁGICO by FIMI “is the right environment for our business”, with a positive assessment in terms of attracting national customers, with a figure higher than in other editions.
On the other hand, Beatriz Montero underlines the maintenance of the business, “despite the reduction in the number of children who have taken communion”, in addition to attracting international customers. Alejandro Rodríguez, from Montserrat Lozano, highlights the “loyalty of the national customer” who trusts the brand year after year. Mar Cases, from Alhuca Ceremonia, highlights the notable influx of buyers on the first day to complete a “good assessment” of this edition of DÍA MÁGICO by FIMI.
Alicia Gimeno, director of DÍA MÁGICO by FIMI, highlights the unique nature of an event that, after more than a decade of experience, “is the benchmark event for the communion and ceremony sector, anticipating the trends of the coming seasons and opening up new business opportunities for manufacturers and points of sale”.
Dates of the 2025 edition
DÍA MÁGICO by FIMI 2025 will be held on 16 and 17 May 2025 at Feria Valencia. This was approved by the event’s organising committee at its evaluation meeting for this year’s edition. Thus, the next edition of the only professional and international event dedicated to the communion and ceremony sector will be held over two days, in response to the demands of the sector.
According to Alicia Gimeno, “we have taken this decision after consulting with the participating companies and buyers, who have told us that they would like to have a more compact and dynamic event”. Therefore, in the words of the show’s director, “we are convinced that this new format will allow participating companies to optimise their time and resources, and buyers to have a more complete overview of the offer in less time”.
